The tale of a ravenous rat who craves buns, biscuits and all sweet things. Tearing along the highway, he searches for sugary treats to steal, until his sweet tooth leads him to a sticky end.
The Highway Rat is a 2017 short stop motion computer animated television film based on the picture book of the same name written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. Directed by Jeroen Jaspaert, the film was produced by Martin Pope and Michael Rose of Magic Light Pictures, London, in association with Orange Eyes Limited and Triggerfish Animation Studios.
