Deva starring by vijay and swathi. Deva (Vijay) and Bharadhi (Swathi) are two lovers. He's the son of Manorama and brother of Mansur Ali Khan. She's daughter of Sivakumar, who is the village head. Manorama is fully in support of her son to get married to Swathi.Sivakumar refuses to give his daughter's hand to him because his brother does not have a good reputation in the village. But then he realizes that Deva, unlike his brother, is a good guy. In the end, the lovers overcome all problems and get married.

Deva is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar and produced by B. Vimal. The film stars Vijay, and debutante Swathi, while Sivakumar, Manorama, Mansoor Ali Khan and Manivannan play supporting roles. The film revolves around a couple who are deeply in love, but encounter opposition from the woman's father, who is head of the village. The father believes the man is not a suitable partner due to his perceived reputation. The film was released on 17 February 1995 and had a successful theatrical run of 100 days in Tamil Nadu.
