Kolah Ghermezi is a naughty school boy. His playfulness gets him expelled from school and he fails to find a job. He sees a program on TV which attracts his attention and he goes to Tehran. With the help of Pesarkhaleh, he goes to the TV program he had seen and finds the reporter. He likes the reporter so much that he decides to help him overcome the obstacles he faces for getting married, but instead causes troubles.

Kolah Ghermezi, also known as Red Hat, is a fictional puppet character created by Iraj Tahmasb and Hamid Jebelli along with Marzieh Mahboob and Masoud Sadeghian Boroujeni. He has appeared in various television series and a number of theatrical films. The first TV program to feature the character was a 1995 episode of the children's puppet show Post Box. Films based on this character have been among the best-selling in the history of Iranian cinema. For over two decades, the presence in Iranian cinema and television of Kolah Ghermezi has turned him from a doll to a cultural phenomenon that appeals to audiences across different generations, especially those of the 1360s (1980s).
