Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends is a 2014 Japanese jidaigeki action film directed by Keishi Ōtomo and based on the manga series Rurouni Kenshin. Serving as the third installment of the Rurouni Kenshin film series and a direct sequel to Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno (2014), the film takes place immediately after the predecessor and sees Himura Kenshin recover and prepare for a last stand against Shishio Makoto and his gang.
