Melissa Suzanne George is an Australian and American actress. She began her career playing Angel Parrish on the Australian soap opera Home and Away between 1993–1996. After moving to the United States, George made her feature film debut with a supporting role in the 1998 tech noir Dark City. She made the transition to leading roles when she starred in the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror, gaining further recognition with the genre films Derailed (2005), 30 Days of Night (2007), and Triangle (2009).
